Halloween Shops Orange County
Halloween is almost as big a holiday as Christmas in terms of shopping. From fog machines to life size ghouls, from spider webs to cds of spooky sounds, there are lots of things available to help you get into the spirit of All Hallow's Eve.
Many permanent stores go all out with Halloween gear while many temporary shops set up just for a few weeks. Online stores are another way to find what you're looking for.
Is it safe to buy online?
Many, many Americans buy things from online stores like Amazon. At first it may seem scary to give out personal information over the internet. There are some things you can do to make it a little safer. Look for secure web pages. Once you get to a page that asks for credit card information, you should be on a secure page. Most web pages start out with http://. A web page that starts with https:// includes encryption to protect the data being transferred. The company running the website should be reputable. Check with the Better Business Bureau to see if there have been any complaints. You can do that right from your computer too!
Use a credit card. Most credit cards come with protection against fraud. If your card number is stolen, you have recourse through the credit card company. That's much better than giving out access to your checking account! If you're not sure about the protection offered by your credit card company, call them and ask about it.
